The Administration arm of the GEPF is led by the Chief Executive Officer and his/her management team.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Phenias Tjie
The CEO has overall responsibility for the delivery of pension administration services, focusing on the speed, quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of delivery.
Chief Operating Officer
Ms Mantiti Kola
The COO manages the service delivery operations of the GEPF, including service channels such as client Walk-in Ccentres and the Call Centre, contribution collections, benefit payments and stakeholder interaction.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms Hannah Ntshingila (Acting)
The CFO is responsible for financial management and budgeting, supply chain management and the payroll.
Head of Risk Management and Audit
Mr Effort Kgosiemang (Acting)
His team’s main functions are to review and evaluate internal control systems, as well as to develop and implement risk management policies, processes and procedures. This role is crucial for the Administration’s fight against fraud.
Chief Information Officer
Mr Lazarus Mafolo (Acting)
He is responsible for information security and for supporting the Administration’s service delivery through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).
Head of Corporate Services
Mr Morontshi Matsobane (Acting)
Corporate Services is responsible for human resources functions, including recruitment, performance management, training, and employee health and wellness. The team also oversees security of GEPF property and assets, as well as the management of facilities.
Head of Legal Services
Ms Esti de Witt
Legal Services deals with the GEPF’s legal administration, prepares all contracts, policies and legal documentation, does legal research and analysis, and manages any litigation.
